Expands Management Team with Industry Veteran
Scottsdale, Arizona
April 20, 1999 - e-try.com announces the addition of Thomas J. Tyson to the e-try.com
management team, as Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
Mr. Tyson has over 20 years of direct and managerial experience, in the
marketing and sales of high technology products. Most recently he was an Area Sales
Manager for Catalyst Semiconductor and a Marketing Director for Microchip Technology.
"Tom brings much needed experience to the sales and marketing of our unique
Internet Product Showroom" said Rich Madarasz, CEO and co-founder of e-try.com.
"Tom will develop and implement the strategies necessary to ensure rapid revenue and
profit growth of our on-line marketing service business."
e-try.com developed and offers http://www.e-try.com,
an innovative, one of a kind "Interactive Showroom of the Internet." e-try.com
features realistic, interactive product simulations for a variety of markets and
industries. These include, but are not limited to, consumer electronics, industrial
equipment, medical equipment, and industrial and business services.
These interactive product simulations enable customers to take a product for a
virtual "test drive" using their own PC, experiencing its features first-hand
without leaving the comfort of their office or home. This enhances the e-commerce process
by enabling on-line product trials, while adding a new dimension to on-line product
research and product purchasing.
For manufacturers, e-try.com provides a unique and new medium
for the interactive marketing of their products and adds an important missing piece of the
e-commerce formula by providing a virtual showroom. In this showroom, their customers can
experience the product function, operation, and use. The e-try.com
concept of interactive simulation engages potential customers as active participants in
the marketing of a companys product. Compared to more traditional marketing, the
potential customer spends more time with the product, understands it better, and remembers
it longer at substantially lower costs to the manufacturer.
Currently the e-try.com site has simulations for a number of
industrial, semiconductor manufacturing, and networking products.
